 Hey guys! So today I am here to talk about a really random topic from my usual blog posts but I was asked to give a review about one of these products so I figured hey why not take a poll?  

Who uses tampons and who uses pads?  Also why do you use what you use? what is your fave brand?  What do you want to try?  Do you want me to start doing review/poll posts like this?  Comment bellow!

I suppose if I am asking for your opinions I should give you guys mine?  Well Personally I am a tampon fan.  I think if I was not an athlete than I wouldn't enjoy them as much but being in sports when your underwear is already collecting sweat upon sweat you don't need a DISGUSTING nasty diaper down there also absorbing the sweat.  It is just not appetizing... trust me on this.  Sorry about that TMI  but that is why I choose tampons  

Now for the review half of this post! 

Okay so I received Playtex Sport fresh balance tampons from Influenster to test out and give a review.  I will tell you guys my honest opinion I was not paid to do this I promise... lol. 

Okay so I got the regular which is usually what size I use but because I have been on birth control for quite some time now my lady time of the month has been very light so I use the small a lot more now so I kind of wish I could have got that kind but I understand why they send the regular size.  

Fresh balance: The thing behind the hole fresh balance thing is that they have an odor protection on them.  That kinda scared me a little bit at first because you know how they tell you have to be careful what you do down there like with soap and stuff cause it can throw your hormones off balance and what not and cause problems.  When I used them I did not notice any like off balance ness or any signs of yeast infection so the odor protection is fine it is totally safe.  

Performance: I went through a two hour softball practice with these things on three different days and I didn't have any leakage and most importantly NO uncomfortable stages.  This is probably the most important part of the product. 

Overall I was pleased with the product although I am still not completely sure how I feel about the hole odor thing.  I would almost rather have the most natural tampon I could and I feel like this is putting things in my body I don't want.  But I got a coupon for them so I will get more and continue to use them to basically make up my mind about them.  

Playtex is my top favorite brand for tampons so I will probably always get them.  If you are looking for a good brand I suggest them if you are new to the tampon world.

PRODUCT REVIEW: Influenster DLVoxBox

Hey guys! Right now I want to take this time to seriously apologize for not posting in several months now any blog posts or videos, I really am sorry I swear it's just that life is crazy hectic and I had to cut some things out of my schedule sadly and blogging happens to not end up at top of the priority list since I am trying to graduate this year :/ 

The good news is that it is slowly starting to wind down and so maybe this time I will have time to do more stuff but for today I have a product review for a few random products that Influenster sent me.  

For those of you who have no idea what Influenster is go check it our on Influenster.com! Basically you sign up and you fill out questions and surveys and do reviews on different products to make your score higher.  The higher the score and also depending on your obvious interests you can qualify for something called a VoxBox which is bassically a box they send you full of products to try and all you have to do is blog about them or put them on your insta and tag them and what not and also tell them what you thought of each product.  FREE OF CHARGE!! It is so easy guys and honestly one of the funnest things in the world it is like getting a present in the mail like no joke makes you feel warm inside.  

Okay so now that we have a better understanding of what it is I will now tell you what I received and what I thought of each of the products.  (I haven't gotten around to trying every single one of them yet I will explain why when I talk about them)

Okay so basically I got 6 Products in this box and I will now review each of them individually.  

Playtex Sport Fresh Balance Tampons: Okay so I am very familiar with Playtex tampons and I have never been unhappy with them.  I am an athlete so Tampons are my life you underwear is already soaked in sweat (sorry TMI) and you don't need any other liquids mixing with it that is why I am against pads its like the grossest thing ever when you play sports so year I love Playtex.... The only complaint I have about these is the hole "lightly scented" thing they have.  I am kind of scared what these are going to my hormone balance down there?  Let me guys know what you think!

Sinful colors Red Nail Polish: Okay so sinful colors usually retails for about 3 bucks so not bad right? It is right in between the cheap and expensive nail polishes.  This is quality polish guys it gets the job done just fine for me of course if you get it profesh done its going to be a lot nicer but a home just quick pain job it does great.  This is in the shade NO TEXT RED.  Basically they are trying a movement were if you paint your thumbs with red nail polish it reminds you not to text and drive and stuff so its just one of those cool movements people try to put on.  This is actually my exact go to color every day anyways so I already had the same exact bottle... funny right?  But yeah it does the job just fine for me looks good on great pigment what more do you need?

Softlips Cube: THIS WAS BY FAR MY FAVE PRODUCT! Keep in mind I am a lip balm addict.. big big time... It has also become my go to lip balm and its the cutest thing ever.  It is kind of a play off of EOS lip balms but the outside is a cube and the inside is round like EOS.  I got the raspberry flavored one and it gave me a coupon for it so I am going to now go get the vanilla one.  It is just amazing it has like spf in it my fave thing to put in lip balms and it goes on great AND it tastes amazing... 

Pilot Friction Ball Point Pen: I got this pen in two colors black and blue.  I have good things to say about this but also some bad. To start with the bad I guess the ink isn't as perfect as some other ball point pens and usually when you look for ball point pens you look for that nice fine super jet black smooth pen.  Also the blue ink is hard to mark sometimes it acts like it is already out and I have hardly used it.  One more complaint is that it is a click pen but instead of clicking at the top or having a button on the side like mechanical pencils the clip on it is the clicker.  My thing is that isn't that the first thing people break on pens?  If that part breaks than you are kind of SOL.  

Okay the good is that the colors aren't that bad, it is one of the higher quality ball point pens (also a pen addict that is why I loved this box very very much) Now they are called friction pens for a reason... The top of the eraser is this hard rubber thing... its an eraser!! It is basically a permanent eraser but it erases PERFECTLY you don't even know that you had marked the paper!  Look for my review video later this month and you will see what I mean.  It is amazing best erasable pen ever.  I use this every day in my classes its the best I recommend people this all the time.  

Covergirl Liquid Gorgeous foundation: I am going to be honest I haven't tried this yet because I only use foundation for when I cheer and I haven't cheered yet this week AND I just bought a ton of new foundation.  But I plan on using it this week when I cheer.  Than I will let you all know! 

Kiss Fake Eye Lashes:  I have never been crazy about fake eye lashes but just the other day I was considering maybe trying a pair and now I have a reason to! I won't try them for a few months though because I want to wear them to a school dance and the next one isn't till the winter.  But I will deff let you guys know how it goes.

So my two fave products are the pens and the lip balm I would recommend that to anyone and everyone go get it!

DIY: Waitress Apron

DIY: Waitress Apron

Supplies:

• Fabric (I chose two contrasting fabrics)
• Scissors 
• Sewing machine or strong glue 
• Ribbon
• Iron

I like many other teenagers work to put gas into our vehicles and because we have no experience in anything big and important we are forced to work minimum wage jobs.  I am one of those teenagers... 

Personally I love waitressing but if you do not feel the same way an easy way to make going to work a little less terrible is to make your wardrobe more fun :) At my work we wear ALL black. Black top pants and shoes, our aprons are even black...

I am sorry but that's a crime!  So I asked my manager (which I strongly suggest you do before you make this) if it was okay if I made a fun and cute waitress apron.  She said yes! :) I was honestly kind of surprised but I wasn't going to question it :) 

This project can be altered to fit your style and you can do as much or as little to it as you want.  I kept mine pretty simple because I know my boss wouldn't be to happy if I went any crazier. This project can also be a no sew.  I recommend finding a strong fabric glue that is a quick dry but you can try hot glue.  I chose to sew because it will be stronger.  

Step one: cut two pieces of fabric 

Piece one: 22" long and 13" tall 

Piece two: 22" long and 7" tall 

I chose two contrasting fabrics but you can use the same if you would like. 

Step Two: Fold over raw edges

Use a one inch seam allowance and mark it on the two short sides and one long side.  

The top will be folded over and the two sides will if that explains it easier. 

Take notice!

For the small rectangle you only need to pick 1 long side to hem the rest can be left alone. 

I just wanted to show you guys how I did it. 

 So fold the side over to the 1" line you marked out 

 Then just fold that in half and iron down. 

Step Three: Sew the folds down

(or glue)

Step Four: Pin right and wrong side together

Usually when you sew you put right sides together but in this case you need to but the RIGHT side of the little rectangle facing down on the WRONG side of the big rectangle 

If you are just gluing yours go ahead and just glue down the three sides of the little rectangle LEAVING THE TOP OPEN!

Step Five: Sew

Just like the gluers did sew the bottom and the two sides and make sure you keep the top open

Step Six: Turn inside out

If you did it right you should have both your right side of your big fabric and ur little fabric facing you. 

(before turing inside out you may have to trim off some access fabric) 

Final step(S): Sew pockets and sides and add ties

See were I marked the lines? sew 2 lines down the little rectangle to make pockets. Your measurements may be different then mine but try to make them even.  

You will also have to go down the edges of the apron because your big rectangle will have fabric that still needs to be folded over.  (you will understand what I mean when you make it) 

Now add a way to tie it! 

You could make your own ties from fabric or just buy some ribbon (that's what I did) Just sew to the edges of your apron and you are officially done!

DIY: Fabric covered trash can

Fabric Covered trash Can

This is a great DIY if you are looking to add some updates to your room without breaking the bank. I just used a trashcan we had on hand as an easy way to change our surroundings :) Sometimes you need a little change in scenery and the easiest way to do that is REDUCE REUSE AND RECYCLE! :D

Supplies:

• Trash can 
• Fabric of choice
• Other decorators like ribbons bows flowers jewels ect Get Creative with it!
• hot glue gun 
• Felt
• Scissors 
• Measuring tape

I think my mom has had it since she got married it was in desperate need for an update 

You need to get the correct amount of fabric so measure the height of the trashcan and the distance all the way around.  Add 2" to the measurements so that way you have room to tuck in raw edges.  

Mine got smaller at the bottom so I took three all the way around measurements so that way it would conform to the can better.  This is optional it wont be a big deal if you do not do this. 

1. Fold down the raw edges and glue it down the trash can

2. Fold the fabric over the top of the can 

You do not have to hide these frayed edges because we are just going to line it with ribbon later

3. Glue all the way around the can until you meat your original side of fabric.  Again tuck in the raw edges and glue down overlapping the first side.  

Now for the bottom.. 

4. Pucker the excess fabric and glue down to the bottom making sure you pull tight and fold over 

If you are new to DIY this might take a little practicing but you just have to remember you can manipulate the fabric however you want just keep pulling tugging folding and gluing 

5. Finally trace the bottom of the can on the felt cut out and glue over all the nasty raw edges 

6. Remember in the begging how we folded the edges over the top? Now all you need to do is take quarter inch ribbon or whatever size will cover your edges and glue it down over the frayed edges.  

Simple enough? ... I hope?
